When is the shop open?

Shop hours are Monday-Friday 10am- 6pm CST.

Closed on observed holidays.

Where are your bags made?

All the bags are made in Dallas, Texas by Jay.

I'm local, can I pick up my order?

I'd love to be able to let you pick up, but unfortunately at this time I don't have this option.

When will my order ship out?

Orders are processed Monday - Friday during business hours. 

Stock items ship out in 1-2 business days.

Each made to order item will have the approximate production turnaround time listed. Those times can vary between 7-14 business days and 14-18 business days. However things can always ship sooner, those are just the average if the queue is getting busy.

If you purchase a stock item, and a made to order item they will ship together when production is finished.

Please keep in mind this is a small shop, and sometimes a production backlog can happen if there is a big rush.

Please Note: Ellum Bag Works is not responsible for lost, stolen, or undelivered packages. Our responsibility ends when the tracking number provided on your order is confirmed as successfully delivered.  If something has happened to your package, please get in touch with us ASAP so we can figure it out together.

Can I cancel my order?

I completely get it, I change my mind too! If your order hasn't shipped out, and still in production, I can cancel it for you.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Since nearly all products are made to order for each person, or Limited edition collections are made, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

To ensure you get the right color for your made to order bags, we suggest getting Fabric Swatches.

You've got a ton of colors, which one should I pick?

Ooo, tough call! But I've got fabric swatches you can purchase so you get the right color when your bag is made.

Can you make me a custom bag?

Not right now, bummer I know. That might change soon, but no for now.

Are your bags waterproof?

Nope, they're not. I use waterproof materials, but since they are sewn they are just water resistant. The seams are weak spots that might get leaks in extreme weather so if you need something waterproof we recommend using dry bags.

I really want a bag for an upcoming race, can you do that?

If you have a need by date, please note that in your order. If it's not possible I'll let you know!

How do I clean my bags?

Spot cleaning is really the way to go. If you happen to have a lot of stuck on grime or mud you can handwash in a bath tub with a gentle detergent.

Other than that it's trail patina.

Do you have a Warranty?

Any mistakes, or flaws due to EBW's error will gladly be fixed with no charge.

General wear and tear, or abuse is not covered.

If you have a needed repair give me a shout and I can usually fix items for very little. I'd rather keep things going strong with a mend than tossed in a landfill.

I own a bike shop, can I place a wholesale order?

I’m currently taking a break from taking on wholesale orders.

Shipping

Which shipping courier do you use?

Orders ship out via USPS.

How much will shipping cost?

You'll see how much shipping is when you go through the steps of checking out.

Do I get a tracking number?

You sure do, for most items.

If you've ordered a fabric swatch, or sticker, then it will ship without a tracking number.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, I ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

Any import taxes or fees are not included in your total, and are the responsibility of the customer.

I'm local, can I pick up my order?

I'd love to be able to let you pick up, but unfortunately at this time I don't have this option.

My tracking says delivered, but it's not?

If it's been marked as delivered, but you don't have the package, the best course of action is to contact the local USPS/courier office immediately.

On occasion it's going to be delivered the next day, it was delivered to the wrong place, or the tracking was updated too early.
